Municipal Court

Driving violations and Municipal Code violations cited within the city limits of Rogue River are heard by the City of Rogue River Municipal Court conducted at City Hall Council Chambers.

Court is scheduled quarterly on the third Monday of the month, at 6:00 p.m. Trials are usually scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Defendants are responsible to note the court appearance date, time, and location reflected on the bottom of the citation issued.

Court dates and times are subject to change. 

Defendant’s Options:

           1. Pay in full by mail. (check or many order)
               Payments are to be sent to:
               Rogue River Municipal Court
               Box 1137
               Rogue River, Oregon 97537

         2. Prior to the appearance date, submit your plea by complying with violation Options 1, 2, or 3 listed on the back of the Oregon Uniform Citation & Complaint (ticket) issued at the time of the offense. The Clerk is authorized to offer the same options as the Judge would asses in Court, payment of a fine is required in full; or,

         3. Appear before the judge at the time designated on the citation. All payments must be made in the form of cash, check or money order. Payment agreements may be available upon request. If approved, a $25.00 processing fee will be included. If payment arrangements are not met as agreed upon, it will be declared that the defendant failed to comply and the citation would be sent to DMV for suspension and turned over to Southern Oregon Credit Services for collections ( this is notification that the City has the right to include an additional 25% to cover the lost to collections)
